Comprehensive portfolio course: writing about work, editing and curating work, writing about oneself, creating an online presence, a survey of contemporary design practices in the Bay Area and studio visits, students conducted interviews. Learning objectives: send a professional email, make a portfolio, get an idea of the landscape of options for a designer after school, make a modern day cold-call.
